Hey there all you fine folks and fellow Simmers! I've been a lurker here for a loooong time, but I figured it's time to try to give back to the community a bit. I made this lot a while back mostly for my own amusement, but I thought it was kind of neat and decided to try to upload it. It's nothing particularly fancy or stunning, just a big temple with a little gift shop outside. It's more like an "addition" to the Maxis Twikkii Island ruins than anything spectacular by itself.

I present: The Temple of the Great Sun Llama!

Considered the Simtec people's greatest achievement, the Temple of the Great Sun Llama was built in honor of the Simtec's chief Llama god, Tlaxallamaitzquintli. Tlaxallamaitzquintli was considered the most powerful and most sacred of the Simtec pantheon, and those who tried to speak his name usually ended up with paralyzed vocal chords. Archaeologists who first discovered the temple were immediately stricken with a strange disease, dubbed "The Llama's Curse" by locals. Those affected by the curse went mad within days, running off into the jungle to live with the monkeys.

Now your Sims can have their own zany adventures, as the Temple of the Great Sun Llama has recently been opened to the general public!

Fair bit of warning, this lot IS massive. It may lag a bit, depending on your computer's specs and in-game settings. However, my computer is about six years old and is basically in stock condition, and this lot surprisingly doesn't give me too much trouble on medium settings. Your results may vary.

There's not really a whole lot inside the temple, as the base game doesn't have a lot of Mesoamerican-style objects, and I wanted to avoid including custom content. It's mostly just maze-like passages, tiki torches, and a few little trinkets. Also, velvet rope. Don't cross the velvet rope! The gift shop is fully furnished, however.

Of final note, this lot was intended to have only one entrance: through the ruins. That is, in order to reach the dining area and gift shop, Sims had to tour the temple first. To get back, they had to travel back through the temple and leave the way they entered. That was simply how I wanted the lot to function, but since that might be considered unnecessarily strenuous for some folks, I've added a gate into the stone wall so Sims have easy street access to the lot's facilities. If you want this lot to be in its "original" state simply delete the gate. Easy peasy.

This lot has been checked with Clean Installer.
