Woodspell Springs (No Sims Neighborhood, No CC,OFB only)

A picturesque town nestled by a mountain lake, complete with 58 community and residential lots for your Sims. Most community lots can be bought and run as a business, and three residential lots (Spring Run) are already set up as a home business.

No Sims are in this neighborhood. It is clean, has never been played and is ready for you to use. No custom content is required and the only expansion needed is Open For Business for N555 or B555. M555 requires OFB and Bon Voyage. You have the option of downloading the main hood, N555, the business subhood, B555, or the mountain vacation hood, M555. Installation notes below.

UPDATE: Upon request, I have made this neighborhood into a mountain vacation hood, M555. The Woodspell Spiritual Retreat is now a hotel. I fixed The Love Shack floor with terrain paint. Lots that had phone boxes have had the boxes fixed so Tour Guide doesn't get stuck inside. There is no secret community lot and there are no custom sims. Sims are not dressed in mountain clothing so locals aren't recognisable and you'll have to wait and see who you can learn Chest Pound or Slap Dance from. You cannot get any mountain vacation memories here. That would be a whole new project...

I'd love to see your pictures and suggestions in the comments!

Legend says a tunnel was dug into the mountain by two lovers secretly meeting. One tragic night, a jealous suitor saw them sneak inside, then riled the town to block the "dangerous" tunnel. Since then, it's said purple flowers bloom where the lovers' spirits pass, guiding lovers so they do not culminate with the same fate.

Introduction!

Welcome to Woodspell Springs! Sign in our guestbook at the Town Hall and listen to our citizens complain about taxes while admiring the lavishly decorated mayor's office! Feel free to visit our many attractions like...

Union Gardens, where lovers make their vows and promise to be together until death, financial reasons, infidelity, or any other change, do them part!

The Love Shack, filled with the stench of teen hormones and no deodorant in sight!

The Invincible Dreams Library, where you won't lack books, but motivation!

Description!

This picturesque town is filled with 29 furnished community lots, 25 mostly unfurnished residential lots, and 4 empty lots. All lots are original and lot designs are based on online searches. The neighborhood design is consistent, such as similar architecture in close groups of houses, and paths between community lots making it feel like an open world.

There are two main sections - the town itself, and across the lake there's a small farming area with 4 empty lots.

You will need...

Open For Business expansion pack for N555 or B555.
Open For Business and Bon Voyage expansion packs for M555.
Gunmod's Camera Hack to use this neighborhood.

Mootilda's subhood selector so you can have multiple business hoods/downtowns/etc.

More images can be viewed in this Imgur album.

Installation Notes

N555:
Extract to (your relevant pathway) My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2 and the map will automatically go into SC4Terrains and the neighborhood will go into the Neighborhoods folder. If you are prompted to combine folders, click yes.

B555:
B555 is a business subhood. Extract the folder B555 to your relevant pathway which is most likely this:
C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 Open For Business\TSData\Res\NeighborhoodTemplate

Then cut the SC4Terrains folder from NeighborhoodTemplate and paste it into My Documents/EA Games/The Sims 2. It will combine with the SC4Terrains folder already there so now you have the custom terrain.

M555:
This is a mountain vacation subhood. Extract M555 to your relevant pathway which is most likely this:
C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 Bon Voyage\TSData\Res\NeighborhoodTemplate

Then cut the SC4Terrains folder from NeighborhoodTemplate and paste it into My Documents/EA Games/The Sims 2. It will combine with the SC4Terrains folder already there so now you have the custom terrain.

NOTE: When you are adding an extra mountain/east/island vacation hood, only the custom sims from the first mountain/east/island hood are created. So, make sure you add whatever mountain vacation hood first with sims you want. This hood has no custom sims. Any sims in extra mountain/east/island hoods will delete and leave junk references that can corrupt your hood in the future. There is a method to keep all sims here (it says it's for Downtown but it's the same for vacation hoods).

Known "Bugs":
- The community lot "The Love Shack" has a white floor. I have no idea why it has a white floor. It should be grass. You can fix this by editing the lot and adding terrain paint that looks like grass.
- The backdoor of the Invincible Dreams Library kind of disappears but sims can still use it. This is because the lamps either side were positioned using boolprop snapobjectstogrid false. You can reposition the door and lamps to fix it.
- There is an extra floor tile above the door, on the second floor of the Real Estate Office. Sorry!
- Sims can dive into the indoor pool at The Ugly Fish Tank and can climb out using the ladder, but seem to dislike climbing in using the ladder.
- Let me know any other issues you find in the comments!

Additional Credits:
Thanks to all the people who created nice houses that I saw when I was searching online for inspiration. Thanks to the random name generators that created punny lot names.

Thanks to all the extra programs and programmers, like the Lot Adjuster and Lot Compressor by Mootilda and Any Game Starter by Numenor.

I used two fixes by nopke: skyFix and Sim Shadow Fix. skyFix makes the sun and moon appear in the sky, while shadow fix fixes the black boxes that appeared around sims with certain new graphics cards when trying to run TS2. You do not need these in your game to make this neighborhood work, it is only for aesthetics.
