The world of The Sims 2 PSP Version is one that I have never explored. Never owned an actual PSP and I'm sure there are emulators out there but... I'm too lazy now. However, I stumbled upon an interesting article on The Sims 2 Wiki, about Nervous Subject being involved with a Sim named Annie Howell (well, until he died). So I did more research and it turns out the Howells live in a bar called the 'Nighthowl Saloon', and they play quite a part in the storyline (hint: a werewolf a.k.a. Nightbeast is involved). Following some of the walkthrough videos, the interior of the lot looked really good. And there, I was inspired to create my own version of that lot. And so here we have my version of, the Nighthowl Saloon.

This is a fully-functioning bar, in the form of a home business. The bar is located on the ground floor, and the living quarters are in the basement.

Inside is where the fun begins. There's a bar, piano, pool table and juke box. Enough to keep guest entertained for long hours as they burn a hole down their pockets (the good kind)! Customers have access to the public restrooms at the back.

What they won't/shouldn't have access to is the kitchen. It's quite big, with countertop dining for four.

At the back, nothing really goes on. Just some boxes and the trash can. Upstairs, there's an open area with lots of potential. Right now, there's a telescope because every resident of Strangetown should have one.

Downstairs is where you'd find the living quarters. There's a living room, hallway, two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a general/study/store room.

I opted for the basement quarters rather than on the second floor for added safety in the event of sandstorms (which will never happen, but at least they're prepared). The lot, especially the basement, was decorated for a specific Sim family of mine, which consist of a single dad and his two sons. Basically he aspired to a pilot, but that didn't work out. Later he wanted to become an artist, but that didn't work out either. After his wife passed away, he moved into this old bar and is trying to get it off the ground. His sons are very science-y, and blend in well with the folks in Strangetown. And so you can find some cues which point to this story around the house.

That's the end of the tour, now let's get technical. This lot:

- has never been inhabited.
- has been cleaned with Chris Hatch's LotCompressor (using this guideline)
- has been expanded with Mootilda's LotAdjuster (here ) from 2x3 to 2x4
- has been clone tested, up to 5 game-days.
- has absolutely no CC
- requires all EPs and SPs or UC

And that's that. Feel free to comment any opinions/suggestions for this lot.

Happy downloading and enjoy!

Special thanks to Zarathustra for his method of using dressers as boxes. Really handy for no CC lots!
