Just in case anyone felt that there weren't enough careers already available for TS4, I present my first career creation - Private Security Contractor. I wanted to make a realistic career but with a bit of the same humor that is prevalent in The Sims.

The modern world never stops moving and the threats never stop growing. Slackwater Industries recognizes this and is now hiring security personnel. Enjoy competitive pay and paid time off. Thanks to a disturbing lack of regulation or oversight, we now offer dental! No education necessary, we train you as you work! Come join our team today and take a stand against violence, by engaging in grotesque levels of it. Prior felony conviction slowing you down? Talk with one of our employment counselors and see how a career with Slackwater Industries can start you on the path to success. Anger management issues aren't an issue here, our career counselors have even helped people with prior domestic violence convictions embark on an exciting career in Private Security. Meet wealthy sims and help keep them safe from the dregs of society. Take a bullet for them or learn how to duck, the choice is yours.

Everything you need is included in the .zip file, including the most recent "Neia Career Commons" file.

**Tested on Game Version 1.47.51.1020 (November/Get Famous Update)**
*It will NOT work on older versions*
I have a copy of my previous version to work with 1.45.62.1020 if you still have that version. PM me for it
[B]Always keep your game up-to-date

The career is a bit slow to progress and the pay is rough for the first few levels but it gets better later. I wanted to simulate working hard to get noticed in the field and earn those promotions since you have to do a little more than show up to work for a few weeks to get a promotion IRL. Skills necessary to advance in this career may not be readily apparent, but expect to have a fairly well-rounded character by the time you reach the final level but the skill level requirements aren't high. Get to work on your fitness, charisma, and writing skills. It is only a single track career with 10 levels since this is my first creation and I'm lazy so I wanted to take it easy on myself.

**Here's the skinny on the career levels**
  1. Night Watch T,W,T,F,S (10p-6a)-17/hour = This isn't what you pictured when you saw the employment ad online. Long hours spent in some wealthy person's security hut alternatively binge-watching "Walking Dead" and the same black-and-white security monitor feeds, all night long. You've never met your client, but your pretty sure he's borderline paranoid schizophrenic. (Fitness 1, Charisma 1)
  2. Security Detail W,T,F,S(7p-3a)-28/hour = You get a taste of what this life is all about by shadowing a wealthy heiress. Mostly your job consists of holding doors for her and catching her when she falls off the bar she was dancing on, but it pays your bills. If you keep her alive and limit her tabloid exposure, there might just be something better on the horizon. (Fitness 2)
  3. Celebrity Bodyguard T,T,F,S,S(10a-7p)-45/hour = Your client is an international celebrity activist. Your job would have been a cake-walk, had it not been for that "activist" part. Your client doesn't just sing and dance, he also makes powerful enemies with his anti-mischief and 'sim rights' campaigns. Keep him alive so he keeps making money to pay his protection bills. Don't forget to enjoy his private jets and yachts when you can. (Fitness 3, Charisma 2)
  4. Corporate Detail Leader M,T,W,T,F(7a-3p)-48/hour = You lead a 3 sim team of bodyguards for one of Sim City's most influential and wealthy corporate executives. You'll follow her around to business meetings, corporate events, and stockholder gatherings. You plan out his trips and then execute those plans with precision. Learn to grow eyes in the back of your head and watch everyone closely, that little old lady might just have a hand grenade in her pocket book! (Writing 1)
  5. High Value Client Detail M,W,T,F,S(9a-3p)-65/hour = In place of "high-value" read: this sim writes huge checks! Your client isn't a corporate executive, government dignitary, or spoiled heiress. This time you are charged with protecting a narcissistic lobbyist with delusions of grandeur. His checks never bounce and he always pays for the ultra-premium services. Most of the threats are high-fat foods and crazy drivers, but occasionally he does travel to some shady areas for his job, so don't fall asleep on the job. (Fitness 4, Writing 2)
  6. Security Training Consultant M,T,W,T,F(9a-4p)-70/hour = You've been asked to help devise a training program for a corporation who recently decided to handle their security in-house. Yes, you know that is a horrible idea, and yes, you've communicated your reservations to them. Their resolve is just as firm as the contract they offered. You can take that contract or you can take your ethics to the unemployment line. (Writing 3)
  7. Security Movement Planner M,T,W,T,F(8a-4p)-255/hour = While wondering how in the world your clients manage to make a living in the veritable sewers in which they do business, you have deal with real security threats. You work directly with their security teams to plan the client's every movement outside the safety of their lead-lined, booby-trapped, reinforced concrete bunker. The threats are real, and the danger level is high, but so is the amount of zeros on the checks they cut for your services! You can't bill a dead client, so make sure your plans are top-notch. (Writing 4)
  8. Security Consultant M,T,W,T,F(8a-2p)-325/hour = You've made a name for yourself. 4 out of 5 of your clients survive their first week under your protection! You've been asked to work directly with corporations to enhance their existing on-site security. For what these clients are paying for your services, you'd better write more than "lock the doors" on the paper! (Charisma 4)
  9. Protection School Trainer M,T,W,T,F(9a-4p)-510/hour = With all of your myriad of successes and the pile of mostly living clients in your wake, you've decided to package up your techniques into a simple 12-step program. You've opened your own school to teach your program to the future bodyguards of Sim City! Through a grueling and intense 5-hour training course you'll train the next generation of bodyguards and personal protection agents in the use of firearms, explosive devices, small unit warfare and guerrilla tactics! (Writing 4, Charisma 4)
  10. Protection School Owner M,T,W,T,F(10a-4p)-785/hour = You're the boss! You are running your own school employing a veritable army of low-skilled, otherwise unemployable people, teaching your own training methods. You pride yourself on being a job creator for dangerously unstable sims. Through the constant paranoia juice churned out by the industry you earn the big bucks for very little work. Make your money and take it easy while you slowly build up your own private army. The world may be going to hell in a hand-cart, but you're the one pushing!

It would be nice to add chance cards and promotion loot. If the community likes this and wants to see it develop I will absolutely add those features in the future. I'm not a very good coder so that may take me some time to learn how to do it.
