Champs Les Sims has always been one of my favourite worlds in TS3, and after having moved to France just a couple of weeks ago, it's become even more special to me. But that ghastly, enormous Eiffel Tower off in the distance is just too much. There's a great mod over at PotatoBalladSims to remove the tower entirely, but I just wanted it a bit less...obvious. So I resized it, with one version at 50% size and another at 33% size. The 50% size is still very visible, and the 33% size is a bit more subtle. Any bigger than 50% looks too big to me, and any smaller than 33% and you can't really tell what it is without squinting.



I also included the fix for the broken alpha settings with the distant terrain, so trees are actually trees and not black squares. If you just want the fix, it's at the same link above at PotatoBalladSims.

This is a simple default replacement for the mesh for DT France, the distant terrain object from Champs Les Sims. Just pop it into your mods folder and it'll override the model and show up in Champs Les Sims or any other world that uses the same distant terrain, but you can't have any other mod that replaces the terrain object model in the game.
