I am notoriously awful at floor plans. This I know. It's true for D&D, it's true for the Sims. But I wanted a little more in the way of housing, and cranked up TS2, and picked at fairly random 25 Peanut Street from Sim State University. I did my absolute best to recreate it, with furnishings much more like the Bright residence just across the way on the same floor plan (barring some windows and doors, apparently), though the sofa selection in TS4 stymied me somewhat.

It also survives being plonked on a 20x15 lot, and I have tested it in Newcrest. Arguably, I think it looks better there than with the vast emptiness of the 30x20 lot, though I decided to add some hedges in the front and back and two oversized hawthorne trees that are just beginning to encroach on the eaves. Shame there's not a two- or three-tile hedge that isn't CC that matches.

Unfurnished, it stands at §11,467 (barring land price, I guess?).
Furnished costs §24,402. Not quite a pure starter furnished.
