Rooms, Rooms, Rooms

Date Posted: 11th Sep 2019 at 11:16 PM

I've been saving some of the rooms from Kinross that I thought would be nice for others to use in their TS4 builds. If you search for me by username (Brunnis-2) on the gallery, you should find them all. Currently in the process of uploading them to my site for those who don't like to use the gallery.

The install is simple enough. Everything just goes in the tray, the same as the lots. Anyway, my rooms can be found here. I'm hoping to get the rest of them uploaded by the weekend.

On a Side Note...

Date Posted: 26th Aug 2019 at 7:54 PM

Started off doing one thing and wound up doing something completely different because a little light went off in my brain and a little voice said, "No, you need to go do this RIGHTNOW!!!!"

Yesterday, I had every intention on continuing a new build and perhaps getting some more of my site overhaul, and somehow found myself transferring my Simblr over from my primary blog to a secondary blog and also giving it an all-new theme that has a cleaner look to it. I won't bore you with the reasoning behind it.

The url is still the same as I simply did a username switch, so if you've favourited the B2 Simblr, the link will still work. However, in making the switch, I now have followers on what is essentially a dead blog. If you were following me, then you will need to go back and follow me again (eek sorry!).

I've been making some progress on making the blogger account function more like a proper website and that's coming along slowly but surely. Again, nothing changing link-wise, mostly just formatting on that one.

Hopefully it'll all be done soon and I can get back to creating stuff. Still stuck with TS2 & Ts4 at the moment until I get my PC sorted. I miss TS3 so much.

Profile Theme?

Date Posted: 26th Jun 2019 at 3:19 PM

Gragh! I'm trying and failing to get my noggin around the theme generator. Not because I'm an idiot, but because there's just soo many elements to it to change and the preview button doesn't seem to want to actually show me a preview.

Waaah!

Bye-Bye Fallout 4

Date Posted: 10th Jun 2019 at 10:29 AM

Finally, I am back in the swing of TS3, having stepped away from Fallout 4. It's in part because my wrists need a rest from the PS4, and partly because I have to build an entire Vault and I caaaaan't be arrrrrsed.

My beloved other half managed to salvage an ancient backup, so I've been revamping my first ever TS3 build. It will never make the light of day online as it's my grandma's house and I feel weird sharing that with folk. Perhaps I'll do two versions - one with accurate decor and another redecorated version...? We'll see.

Got a revamped version of Medusa's Pawn Shop just about ready to upload. You can see the oroginal version over at *gasp* TSR, but meh, bollocks to 'em if they won't like me add revised uploads. MTSers and people who stumble across my blog will get the better version like the do with Gale Farm and Kinross.

In other news, we have ferrets coming our way next month! No doubt they'll be having my life within seconds of arriving at their new home. I've been putting off sorting that room out and finishing the memorial box frame for the little guy we lost at the start of the year. I keep blaming the latter on "creative blockage" but the truth is it's just another aspect of denial.

That took a downward turn...

Anyway, that's all I have to update with here. Go follow me on Twitter , Tumblr and Blogger .. might even go Insta. Ooooh, there's a thought.

Much luv!

TS3 to 4 to 2

Date Posted: 1st Jan 2019 at 11:17 AM

While my husband has been off work for two weeks over Christmas, he's reclaimed his PC which means I've had zero access to TS3. I can't really have it on my laptop due to AAALLL THE MODDDDS, so I shopped about the various winter sales for something to keep me going over the holiday.

In a recent post on my blog I spoke of my fall into the Abyss as I purchased TS4 in the Origin sale. Now, part of the reason I'm posting this here rather than my blog is because I didn't want my attention deficit to become too apparent. That said, I've literally just outed myself so... bugger.

I just could not for the life of me get into that game. It's HORRIBLE. I know there are folk out there who love it, but it's just not for me, man. It gets fired up and about 10 mins later I'm shutting it down, unlike my PS Store sale purchase which gets played for hours (Sonic Mania, baby!).

I decided to re-install TS2 and I'm wondering why I didn't do this sooner. One of the first things I did once I'd created my little Sidney was to set about building my favourite house from TS3's Sunset Valley. It's coming along nicely and almost finished. It made me think I'll probably build some more, and maybe even recreate my own TS3 builds. Of course, I'll share them here when they're done. Exciting times.

Oh, how I've missed TS2. :lovestruc

Now Twitter, That's Not Nice!

Date Posted: 8th Oct 2018 at 11:42 AM

For a while i've been pondering a new Twitter account to run alongside the blogs. I didn't want to use my personal one because I've spent 10 years building up a reputation of being a tool and didn't want my Sims stuf getting lost in the mix.

Easy job right? That is, until you post your first Tweet and your account gets blocked by Twitter for "suspcious" activity. This is the offending Tweet. Not a nice way to greet a 'new' member, eh Twitter?

Anyway, after that little misunderstanding my new account is set to go. I shall be stalking you all very soon.

CC Wishlist

I find myself grinding to a halt on some of my creations because there are items I need and cannot find anywhere. Sometimes, it's just a case of making it myself, but then there's some things that goes beyond either my ability or patience.

Currently on the lookout for the following:

Old lady headscarf (Babushka style)
Proper granny clothes (seriously, it's like one big glamour granny competition out there!)
A riding type jacket with a collar shirt AND cravat/scarf (seems to always be a case of one or the other)
Decent outwear for elders - I found some but surprise, surprise, the links are all dead
Renault Captur - not really stopping anything other than my gameplay because I want a Captur, dammit!

*sigh*
