Default Patterns where only the background recolours?
I would like to create patterns where I can make the background recolourable but not the design, i.e. the stencil. I use a lot of patterns with to much variation in shading in the actual pattern which can't successfully be recoloured, especially when the image is metallic. So basically can I create a recolourable background with an overlay of the pattern on it? Sorry I can't explain this any better. Like this .png image, I don't want to have the gold parts recolourable because I like the subtleties in the tones of the gold but I would like the background to be recolourable. I tried to do it by just making a red background, placing the .png over it and bringing that in, then colouring the red part in TSR pattern tool but the actual pattern part stays white and grey.

Anyone have a clue how I can do this?
