This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage, Free Time, Apartment Life
Default TS2UC crashes during neighborhood loading
I haven't played TS2UC in four days and finally I decided to sit down and play. I thought I'd get some mods before I did to make my game a little more interesting and booted up a new neighborhood. It got to when it said "Creating: Magic" when I heard my PC beep only to find that it crashed and the game had to be shut down. I tried it two more times with new neighborhoods before trying one of the premades. No dice. I removed my downloads folder but nothing. I even uninstalled and reinstalled the game (and repaired it) only for the same outcome. This has never happened before and I'm not sure why it's happening now.

Your mods must be for AL and or M&G unless they say they are for any setup.
Wrong mods for your game setup will make the game crash.

Best thing to do is remove the new mods and only put it one at a time to see what happens.

Yes, I figured that. But like I said above, I removed my entire downloads folder and tried again. It still crashes. Even after writing this thread the game crashes.

Okay, so, um, I figured the issue. I should have guessed with my terrible laptop but I didn't. Apparently, I had no space left and the game couldn't continue. I deleted all the useless things and I'm back in business. I'm sorry for being so silly.

Glad to hear that it's solved.

It's often only after you've asked a question that you discover the solution yourself, so no need to feel silly. I did the same thing just yesterday, solving my own problem after having a good look at what might have happened.
