This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage, Free Time, Apartment Life
Default 'Set Wage'
This isn't a problem so much as a general question, but what the heck does it mean when this pops up on a home business lot (no employees)? I think it's linked to the business being reviewed. Your sim's head pops up with a 'set wage' scale and you can make them ridiculously underpaid, ridiculously overpaid or anything in between. But they shouldn't be getting a wage should they, because they're the business owner?? Can anyone clear this up for me?

I've always ignored it and figured it's a Maxis bug.

Me too. Just a bug or, a boss can get paid as well...I do not remember what happens, if I do not ignore it, and actually set a wage for my owner.
I am about to start some business, and probably home based ones as well, so if ever this bug comes up, I'll take notes.
