Yay! Cat's entry is in. I agree, base game, that would kill me! Love how it goes out over the water Cat and your lay out.

Nice entry @CatherineTCJD too.
Yes, it's been slow on this last leg of the competition. I hope that the the next 24 hours will be a surprise with multiple posts to come. I've already released the judging form for the directors on this last round to get a head start on what to look for. This time, I hope we'll finish mid-April.

Thanks again Jo, Justpetro and Goldenbtrfly for testing my apartment building in AL. I'll get a proper look at it when I've got my entry for this round in.
I've finished my hotel and taken 10 pictures so far. Now I just have to take the rest of the pictures and write up the schedule. I hope I can get that finished in time. Mine too is a base game one, but it's nothing like Cat's. It's a city centre luxury hotel and of course it's in the Jones & Moltke style, with a very traditional "Veronavillesque" façade. It's dearer than I would have liked, and I know my MD (Andrew) won't be pleased about that, but he did want a luxury hotel, suitable for Mayfair, and he didn't want a botched job. So I do hope I haven't botched it, and it makes a reasonable return for him and Julian. (Whatever my final balance [after judging] is, I'll divide it between my two directors, Andrew and Julian. Unless I do something really awful in this final round, it should make them into two of the richest Sims in my game! )
I trust it's still 16 images plus the small one for the price.

I've updated my entry. I can get the images to show under the spoiler tags but not in the attachment area for some reason!

Winters Building Group
Winters Building Group Presents The Winters Inn.
When Henry Winters presented us with his design ideas when he got the Hotel contract, he wanted to build something elegant and comfortable ("the complete opposite of a certain infamous campsite"). The style he ultimately decided upon was colonial. Each room accommodates at least two people, has a mini-fridge, microwave, coffee pot, and TV. For safety and convenience, each room has a smoke alarm and telephone. Mr. Winters also wanted to make sure guests who stayed would have some entertainment so added a pool, put together a billiard room, and added a little cinema, as well as a dining room with a juice bar. And if guests wish just to sit around we have our lounge in the lobby and there is outdoor seating in the garden to enjoy the sunshine. There are public restrooms on the ground floor, and public phone in the hallway behind the lobby. On the gallery above the lobby there is a piano should any guest desire music, and a chessboard.

Great looking hotel, @Lehcar99. Love colonial buildings.
In about 2 hours, the contract will close. You may continue to submit an entry for up to 5 more days, but they will be considered late entries, if ever.

I've finished my lot, was about halfway done with pics then realized I'd forgotten smoke detectors, so will have to retake most of my pics...am very tired and have a headache. This exam is very stressful. But I'll try my darnedest to get the pics done and posted in time.

Let me welcome you all to the Black Diamond!
Lillian: "For our inspiration on this contract, we thought back to our honeymoon in Miami. There are lots of art deco buildings in Miami. Ours is something we are calling 'mod deco'; it has elements of both art deco and modern design."
The ground floor features a grand lobby with check-in desk(not a functioning one, but by the standards outlined in the contract), a restaurant, a bar, two public restrooms, and two private phone "rooms" for customer use (the little skinny rooms at the front. If you look closely, you will see a wall phone and a booth seat). There is also a pool with lounge chairs out back.
The second floor features two guest rooms with two single beds each. They are identically mirrored.
Aside from the two single beds, there is a loveseat, television, small dining table, mini fridge and coffee maker, as well as a small closet and dresser.
(as these are the "cheap" rooms (it's a relative term, compared to the other two rooms), the sink is outside of the bathroom, as it's been in every hotel I've ever stayed in)
The third floor features two larger "suites". Each suite is again identically mirrored.
They have a double bed, desk, dresser and living chair in a separate bedroom.
In the main area, there is a loveseat, living chair, television, small dining table, mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker, as well as a small closet and dresser. In addition, behind the partial wall is a single bed.
As these are nicer suites, the sink is in the bathroom
The roof has a double bar, dance floor, and lots of seating. It is accessible via the elevators at the back, but also has a fire escape in case of emergencies.
Price
Back
Ok. I think I have everything. There is a smoke detector in every guest room (on the wall above the closet shelf), as well as the restaurant kitchen. And the two lamp posts. All of which should be visible in at least one pic.
And I made it in time! Just barely

Monopoly Game Town Contract: Mayfair Park Hotel (Price §289,274)
Jones & Moltke Construction Ltd.
Veronaville
To Mr V. Briggs,
Director of Urban Development,
Monopoly Game Town
Sir,
I attach hereunder plans and photographs of our submission for Contract 4.
The building is constructed of basic materials [Base Game] using the specified wall motifs. Our design is for a small but luxury hotel suitable for a principle street in the moist expensive part of town. We feel confident that the high class clientele which this hotel will attract will cause no upset at all t the distinguished residents of this part of town.
This contract was a new venture for our company, specialising as we do in affordable quality housing, but it has been an interesting and exciting one. We trust you will be happy with the solidity of our design and the usual quality finish you expect from our artisan craftsmen.
We would normally include a lift (elevator) in a hotel of this standard, but have been unable to obtain one with the basic resources available at this time. We have, however included an empty lift shaft at the centre of the stair well, which should make the retro-fitting of a lift a simple as possible.
I am yours faithfully,
Andrew Jones,
Managing Director

Mayfair Park Hotel
The hotel by night
Mayfair Park Hotel
The hotel by night
The Mayfair Park Hotel aims to provide the highest standards of comfort and luxury. All rooms and suites have full en suite facilities provided in two bathrooms(!) All rooms have hot drink making facilities and flat screen televisions. Our suites have state-of-the-art Soma "Wall-Eye" Large Screen Flat-Panel televisions. Flowers in rooms are changed daily. All main beds have bedside telephones allowing our patrons to call room service. Safety is not neglected: all bedrooms, suite living rooms, and main public rooms have smoke alarms, and the room telephones can of course also be used to contact the emergency services.
Front View
Rear View
Behind the hotel is a pleasant wooded garden with an open air swimming pool.
Ground Floor
Floor Plan
Cutaway view of Ground Floor
The ground floor houses the hotel's main public rooms. In the centre is a hallway the reception desk. At the rear a spacious staircase leads to the upper levels. On the left hand side is our restaurant. On the right, the bar is at the front. Behind it is a combined gym and spa.
Interior of the opulent restaurant
First Floor
Floor Plan
Cutaway view of First Floor
On the right of the first floor is a ballroom/discotheque where you can dance all night. As we were unable to obtain a proper DJ's booth, we have installed a quality stereo unit. The rest of the first floor is occupied by the hotel's less expensive overnight accommodation. The ballroom also boasts a well-stocked bar. Rather than using room numbers, the Mayfair Park's rooms and suites carry the names of prominent Sims. On this floor are the Lillard Room and the LeTourneau Family Room.
Lillard Room
The Lillard Room has comfortable accommodation for up to 3 with a double bed and a single bed. It has two bathrooms, one with a bathtub and one with a quality shower. Entertainment is provided by a Soma 44" PancakeTek flat screen television.
LeTourneau Family Room
The LeTourneau Family Room is ideal for a family with younger children. With an appropriate décor, in addition to a double and single bed, it has a cot and a baby changing table. A well stocked toybox will keep the little ones happy for hours. It has two bathrooms: one with a quality shower, and one with a luxurious combined bathtub and shower. When the children are too tired to play any more they can watch the Soma 44" PancakeTek television.
Second Floor
Floor Plan
Cutaway view of Second Floor
The accommodation on the second floor is comprised of two specious and elegant suites with rooftop terraces: the Milburn Suite and the Lothario Bridal Suite.
Living Room of the Milburn Suite
The Milburn Suite provides facilities that will please the most discerning visitor to Monopoly Game Town. Sleeping accommodation is provided in a double and single bed, both of the highest quality. Both are in separate bedrooms, and each has it's own bedside telephone. There is of course a comfortable dining area, with large windows giving a view over the hinterland behind the hotel, and luxurious leather sofas and chairs where guests can watch the Soma "Wall-Eye" Large Screen Flat-Panel television. There are two spacious bathrooms, one with a luxurious bathtub and one with a quality shower, and a rooftop terrace with panoramic views over the town.
Living Room of the Lothario Bridal Suite
Bedroom of the Lothario Bridal Suite
Named after one of Sim Nations most famous lovers, the spacious Lothario Bridal Suite is the ideal place to spend an unforgettable honeymoon. Themed in bridal white, it features an exotic oriental four poster bed. There are two well-appointed bathrooms, a Soma "Wall-Eye" Large Screen Flat-Panel television, a cosy dining niche just for two and a rooftop terrace with excellent views over Monopoly Game Town. The suite comes with a complimentary bottle of Titania Vineyards 1914 sparkling white grape juice and a wedding cake.

There is no access to the loft area. The partial flooring helps to hold the roof up!

P.S. Andrew wanted to name the bridal suite after a really famous Sim lover, and he asked his mum if she could think of someone suitable. Gloria's aspiration is Romance and, after a bit of thought she recommended that he name it the Lothario Bridal Suite after a distinguished medical practitioner in Pleasantview. Over in Pleasantview itself, a certain Ms Cassandra Goth may think differently!

Good job and good luck to you all in this contest! I've been watching the contest from the sidelines since your entry round and hiding in shame in the corner of my room in awe of these builds! I hope they're available for download, because even the shabbiest of the lots made me jealous!
And good luck to the jusges too. Your contestants didn't make it easy on you. :P

[PRESS RELEASE]
Jones & Moltke Construction Ltd.
Veronaville
Jones & Moltke Construction Ltd. (Veronaville) have pleasure in announcing the appointment of Keith Cormier and Mallory Mace as the company's representatives in Monopoly Game Town. Keith and Mallory are both natives of Veronaville, though they have been living recently in Downtown. They will move into the company's temporary offices just off the Old Kent Road, Monopoly Game Town as soon as practicable.
As Jones & Moltke do not have the luxury of a board room, the meeting at which they were appointed was held in the love tub at the back of Andrew's garden. Julian expressed his confidence in the future financial success of the company.
(The Sim watching is Bluewater Townie Ryan Matthews, another friend of Andrew's.)

Not surprised you like it, Cat. It's very Floridian, it's inspired by the Breakwater in Miami Thank you every one for the compliments. I'm quite happy with it, especially since it's not like anything I ever build.

Beautiful entries everyone!
Unluckily life has been a bit too hectic and I was unable to build anything for this contract, which leaves me out of the competition.
But I'm glad to see everyone else came which such wonderful ideas!
