I make a brand new save in game (no overwriting a slot that already exists, brand new save), quit, then reopen the Sims 4.

Normally, your last played household or Sim 'greets' you on the main menu. 'Sim X missed you!' such and such. Strange thing is here, after making a new save, it always puts me to this particular Sim in Brindleton Bay, regardless if I last played them or not.

Does this happen to anyone else and any suggestions how to stop this nuisance?
