If you just download the mesh, do you have to wait for hair color downloads or is it ready to work with default sims hair colors?

Thanks so much for this! I'm trying to play the game without custom content for a more authentic experience but I say this doesn't count. It looks exactly like a Maxis hairstyle. This fits in perfectly with the rest and it's such a great style anyway. I wish there were more of these edited Maxis hairs around! Thanks!
