This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife
Default Can you delete the clothes' mesh in game when you already installed the recolor?
Will the recolor not work anymore if you get rid of the ugly base that usually comes with the download?

I want to get rid of most, if not all, of the visible meshes that take space in the clothes section in CAS. Is it possible to delete it and only keep its recolor?

You can delete the base skin. It might need to be seperated first.

In a .sims2pack file, meshes are not included. They are just recolors (what's included on the actual Sim). Typically, the creator will list what meshes need to be downloaded in order for the particular Sim to show up correctly. So meshes have more distinct file names and may even include the word mesh as part of it.

If you're talking about the default Maxis clothing, you can not delete those.

No, no, no. I know that.

I downloaded a file. It came with two. The mesh and its recolor.
They are both packaged into two files in my game and appears that way.
I was wondering If I would delete the mesh and still have the color work.

But I guess you cant.
