The Best Games You've Ever Played
What are the best games you've ever played aside from Sims 2? For me, Fatal Frame 1, 2, and 3 were killer! Resident Evil 3, 4, Outbreak, and Outbreak File#2 were great too. Metal Gear, Tekken 3 & 5, etc.

For PS2, Grand Theft Auto lll, GTA Vice City, GTA San Andreas(The best one yet), and GTA Liberty Stories.
On the Nintendo (yeah, I still play it- a lot), Conkers Bad Fur Day and Super Smash Brothers.
If I'm not playing Sims2, I'm most definately playing these games

Super Smash Bros. Melee, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (and Windwaker), and Sim City 4 all come to mind.

There's always money in the banana stand.

I'm gonna say... Jade Coccoon, PS1.

Its the only game I can still play, and I just think its so creative in the way it works and the gameplay.

First I think it goes without saying that Sonic 3 and Knuckles is one of the best games I've ever played. Just look at my current avatar, it's a funny inside joke.

Also worth noting is Super Smash Bros Melee (I play that nearly as much as The Sims 2!), the original Sonic the Hedgehog (not the next-gen atrocity) Sonic CD, Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 (lol), and The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess.

The most fun I ever had with a game is the Tex Murphy series. Old, but it was so much fun.

Well let's see...

Might and Magic VI and VII. VIII wasn't bad, but not one of my favorites.
Final Fantasy VII and IX. I haven't had a chance to check out X.
Kingdom Hearts. Disney and Final Fantasy...What's not to love?
Lego Star Wars I and II. Princess Leia's B***h Slap attack is one of the funniest things I've seen in a video game.

I must say Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic both I and II are my favorite games. But I personally like the second one better.

Avoid X. Worst Final Fantasy title by a long shot. Horrible horrible game. Yes I know I am in the minority on that one. :P

The horrible gameplay mechanics? 2 was significantly better thankfully.

Don't be so sure, Presidente...I really disliked X's gameplay, among the worst in Final Fantasy (though my experience with XI and XII is limited).

I can't say my absolute favorite, but some certainly must include Close Combat III, Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight, TIE Fighter, Dead or Alive 4, Grim Fandango and Curse of Monkey Island.

For PC...I think that the best game (old) is/was Theme Hospital. And for console..All of the Need for Speed games.

What's so horrible about FFX?? I mean, the fighting system of FFXII is quite better, but the story of X is so damn fascinating, lovely and great...just like the characters

What makes a "great story" tends to be a lot more relative than "strong/enjoyable gameplay mechanics"--I know a lot of people who like FFX's story. For me, however, it will always be "the unnamed soccer play wants to bang the nun, but he can't because she's a sacrifice to his father. Oh, and he's a dream too". I can see how some people would enjoy it, however.

Probably one of the reasons I actually like FFX-2 more than FFX (though that's not saying a lot). Same silly story, but with actual decent combat.

For me, personally, FFVIII takes the cake for the worse story, but that's just a matter of opinion.

I only played FFX, and every time someone talked about how great FF is, I told them I played FFX and I really hated it. Then they told me that FFX is one of the worst parts and I should try a different one. I've done that with maybe half a dozen different people, and nobody EVER said they liked FFX.

So you're the first person I've met that likes FFX.

FFX had a good story? Bleugh. Such annoying characters and over-wrought melodrama. The only good thing about it was Lulu and that was for her cleavage alone. :P
