Default WCIF mod to make buffet table and birthday cakes not spoil
I would put them in the fridge (and a mod that does that would work just fine for me) but since it's not possible and it's a pain the ass to just grab every slice/plate and put them singularly in the fride... Is there something that prevents them from spoiling entirely?

Not for the cake, sorry. I thought I saw one to put it in the fridge, but it was for Sims 4 (Sims 4 results are my Pinterest lol).

I tried looking everywhere and I even found mods that slow down cake decay but nothing that either stops it or allows me to put it in the fridge.
Also i retroactively remembered it would probably be useful to have something like that for wedding cakes, pizza and chinese food too.
I'll see what I can find.

With cakes, chinese, pizza etc. you can put them in a sim's inventory and they won't spoil.

I know, but I like to keep the cake on the table or the kitchen counter ahah

Oddly, I can't think of any birthday cakes that never spoil. However, there's the heirloom cake: https://simlogical.com/sl/Sims2Pages/Sims2_Aging.htm It's not edible but doesn't spoil and you can keep it in Sims' inventories.

A cake like that could be an option... I could potentially keep it near the buffet table and use it every birthday ahah
It would do for a nice decoration
