I moved in an inactive sim to my household after his wife died. He and his wife were close with my 2 active sims so it made sense for him to come live with them. The day after the wife's death was Valentines day, so while my 2 sims were out on dates, the husband was alone in the house. One of my sims has pills lying around so he took a few too many and died of an overdose. When my sims came home from their dates they discovered his grave. I'm not sure how or why, but Nrass Register decided to designate Grimmy as a Paparazzi, even though I specifically picked a single npc as the Pap and have it set to 1.
So now he is wandering around doing very non-grimmy things. I'm sure this will end up borking my game somehow, but its amusing as hell.

After a looong process of getting my game transferred to Windows 10 and not really feeling it all, I started a game in the new MySimsReality world Saffron Bay.
I'm planning it as a legacy with a somewhat cheaty approach to the ISBI challenge. At the moment, River Tam is on her own and I have started taking advantage of the horse boarding mod by @pjsutton for the first time. It's awesome. It's rather expensive like horse boarding would be in real life.
She lives in an apartment in the city and plays with the horse during the day. She is a Ghostbuster and once in a while, she rides the horse to her jobs, leaves the horse grazing outside. The horse is boarded at the Pony ranch, and has everything she needs.
I've been looking for a husband but so far, things are...difficult. I am starting to think we might have to look for a wife instead.

Having Grimmy as a Paparazzi might make an agreeable change from the ones who stand outside the front door all night letting out that inane laugh every few minutes. Does Grimmy ever laugh? - he doesn't strike me as the humorous type. It might be a little unnerving if he did, admittedly, but considerably less annoying.

Aww I'm really not sure if he laughs or not. I ended up rolling my game back to fix it after freezes started. I'm pretty sure removing some cooking mods broke something, because I didn't realize they are really not removable, which should be in bold on their description pages but is not. Only realized it was my likely problem after reading through some of the comments and the fact that my bars were still staying open 23 hours a day despite not having a bar mod and having removed the cooking/ingredients mods.

It gave me some cute pictures though.....Also I haven't played sims with the sound on in I don't know how long. I tend to have my own music on or a show in the background.

I love seeing all the shenanigans Grimmy gets up to taking on the Paparazzo role is a new one. He's got an interesting ...um... life.

In my game, a situation just unfolded that I'd describe as "too real"... the elderly mother was just pushing past lifespan limit. She has got four grown-up kids with their own families in town, and since she is/was the 13th torch holder, there are a lot of assets involved. In waltzes a young man her daughter once went to school with and rejected. They got married FAST, and a day later, she passed away. Now, he's sitting in the big house hoarding the family fortune, while the kids got 0 inheritance. They (and me) worked hard on that, dammit. What a scummy thing to do. Also, that was Story Progression, not me.

I'm debating whether I should step in and distribute "his" family funds to the kids, he's now got more that 100,000 + big shares in real estate, whereas the kids struggle to make ends meet. What would you do?

I would probably make it dependent on her relationship with her kids and imagine there was a will that she hadn't had time to change before her death. Then kick him out and have one of the kids inherit the house. Or have one of the kids assassinate him. Or leave the families destitute and have one of the grandkids take revenge and do the same to him when he's old.
Oh hell, too many options!

Thank you! That's what I went with, so the son who's in law enforcement took care of it and that gold-digger (not even his LTW) was kicked to the curb. I looked up his traits and he's an ambitious mooch. Go figure.

My sim makes his living as an "escort", but this is a new low for him.

I already knew Robotnik was Polish for "blue collar worker" in the sense of industrial engineering. Besides, it was at the tail end of the Cold War Era this character got his English name and the translation team were sifting through Eastern European words. Technically he is known as Dr. Eggman.

My Sim is dating the same guy her mother had a casual fling with back when her mother was in college. I used NRAAS MC to end it but then NRAAS Story Progression made them romantic again. Smh.

The character was the antagonist of Sonic the Hedgehog. His names come from his appearance (Dr. Eggman, because of his ovoid physique) and his qualities (Robotnik, as he usually creates armies of robots who are unleashed upon Sonic and his friends.)

Originally called Dr. Eggman in Japan and Dr. Robotnik elsewhere until around 1999 during the translation of Sonic Adventure. It was decided by the translation teams that Dr. Robotnik was his official name and that Dr. Eggman was a somewhat derisive nickname from Sonic and his gang of woodland anthro creatures.

I started a new house full of Pokemon bosses, so I had to cram in the two new ones from Sword and Shield. Trying to make Ghetsis an actual sorceror to go with his aesthetic but I don't have the Supernatural expansion so I'm doing the best I can. The Under 30 bosses all live in the basement so Cyrus (if you haven't played, imagine an evil Vulcan who's dead inside) has to share a space with Piers (the world's most positive goth) and Guzma (a slovenly drunk hooligan) and go past their music area every time he wants to leave. Which is all the time.

Rose and Lusamine have the top floor and Rose has been flirting with her which is honestly hilarious and if Oleana was here (which she's not) she would probably kick his ass for it. I want to give Lusamine the Socialite custom job but she needs to work on her charisma first, and OY charisma is hard to work on!

I gave Archie the custom Marine Biologist career and yeah, having to raise the Logic skill for the stupidest ecoterorrist of all time (tied only with his fiancee Maxie because I had to hook the two of them up) feels like a fool's errand. I gave Maxie the Architecht career and he has to get swole for it which is hilarious because the man is a stringbean.

The new custom pack of fleurs-de-lys came at the perfect time because Lysandre needed a theme for his room that wasn't just "black and red". I mean this guy in Japanese is literally named Fleurdelys and his bizarre hair is based on one (though in the game I could only give him a mohawk) so it was a given.

Giovanni's attempt to adopt a cat hasn't yielded fruit yet since all that's available are dogs right now. But I guess that means that I can have more time to plan a name for one. Should I just name it "Persian" even though real Persian cats look nothing like the puma-like pokemon of the same name?

My sim had a wedding party to get married to his favorite witch, but when everyone showed up for the party the wish he rolled was "Have Maeve kiss with another sim".....Maeve is his fiance he is marrying.

Haha, guess now you know what he's into!

Lockdown has me reviving some of my old challenges. I'd previously made it to Generation 5 of a Perfect Genetics challenge. 42 kids. 17 of them in the same generation (that's more than 40%.) I'd saved the heir and her parents in Google Drive, so I packed them up and moved them to Strangetown.

Frozone's a party animal and aspiring drummer. His wife, Rebekah, is a journalist who writes sci-fi novels on the side. Dory, their daughter, likes to bake and play guitar.

They lost everything in the move - money, skills, jobs, even their four sons who I didn't save. And I've gotten a lot tougher on my sims - job interviews, higher bills, more realistic wages. So they aren't living the luxurious lifestyle they were accustomed to.

When the real Grant Imahara died, I went through everything that had an avatar system and removed every likeness of him. But when I went to remove him from The Sims 3, he was gone...

Aside from that, I am working on the 7 Avatars of Sin. As weird as the world of Traverston was when the Devil's 7 Sons moved in, it was weirder trying to remove Grant when he was gone.

I bought an item and my Sim got a wish to buy it AFTER! Sigh!

My sim's wife started a fire while making hotdogs. My sim ofc promptly insulted her for low IQ (I think it's more because she has the clumsy trait). His younger sister lives with them and although she doesnt have the clumsy trait, but I swear she has the hidden trait SUPER CLUMSY because she breaks everything! My sim has level 7 handiness skill from living with these 2 ladies for 15 days .
