Hello, only starting playing Sims for the 1st time a month ago. Now that I finally got the hang of the decorating part (really brought out the dollhouse girl in me :P), thought I'll try posting some pictures.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v...reenshot-33.jpg
Starting with the Throne Room. When the Sims started having indoor duels, I decided no need for more furniture .

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v...reenshot-20.jpg
The Princess+Prince Room: One of the more cluttered rooms. I used a custom wall I found in this forum topic so credits to original modder. My favourite furniture piece is the princess's Faerie-Lady Carpet+Doll set and the young prince has a secret snack stash at bottom right; you know, whenever he's grounded :P.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v...reenshot-50.jpg
The Barracks: I just like the look of this room~ so greeeen... :D

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v...reenshot-46.jpg
Peteran Monestary: I'll didn't want to use the same huge altar for both churches so the Peteran gets the 3 statues. Another room with the custom walls .

Downstairs - http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v...reenshot-31.jpg
Upstairs - http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v...reenshot-54.jpg
The Marketplace: One of the simpler and most fun to decorate. Here is where I get to put all the stuff I don't usually have a place for. I also have a matching Doll+Portrait set upstairs; well almost.

1st floor - http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v...reenshot-45.jpg
3rd floor - http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v...reenshot-29.jpg
Wizard's Lab & Library: The man lives all alone. Of course his decorating skills are 'eccentric' .

Outdoor - http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v...enshot-52-1.jpg
Downstairs - http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v...enshot-53-1.jpg
Upstairs - http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v...reenshot-51.jpg
Smithy: I put 2 forges; the outdoor one is for, say, horse shoeing or wagon fixing, anything that doesn't fit through the front foor. Indoor forge is more craftsmanship and polishing~

Operating Table - http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v...reenshot-37.jpg
Waiting Room - http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v...reenshot-39.jpg
Apartments - http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v...reenshot-40.jpg
The Clinic: One of my prettier rooms. I wanted a pink operating room, to match her uniform, but I ended up making it sunny yellow. So I made the apartments pink instead.

Living - http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v...reenshot-48.jpg
Dungeon - http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v...reenshot-49.jpg
Spy Quarters: Most recent completion. Despite the nice non-pirate-themed living apartments, my evil self reserved all sickness for the dungeon. Complete with a 'Wall of Shamed'; famous prisoners who are dead/dying are chained high on the walls as a motivation for the next to-be-tortured, hehehe...

Really great work Quickening! You caught on pretty fast, took the ball and ran with it.

I like playing The Sims. I don't like to be played like a Sim.

I made my first pirate town! Consisting of:

Pirate Queen Eleonora:

Knight Cratos:

Alucard, the spy:

And the blacksmith, which name I forgot!

Wish I could upload pictures of higher quality, had to compress them and make 'em really small.

Hi there, as a starting point to this forum I post some pics of TSM, so let's go!

The first two pictures show my guard Kyla ...hmm, at work? But look for yourself!
The third picture shows my knightress Evelyn in a "conversation" with the beast.

Have fun!

Any comments welcome.

I'm back... no action or decorating, just some tests.

Knight-Captain Valentin gets winged again...

And I couldn't help myself... I attempted to re-create Don Lothario. His eyelids need tightening up but the eyelids are so round ingame that it's a pain to do.

He's the new spy. Three guesses what his fatal flaw is, first two don't count!

OK, so to anyone who is curious about starting families with NPC's like another thread was about, here is a picture of my latest experiment. I finished one quest with them then I grew up the children and gave them professions. Unfortunately, I made a slip up and the Master Builder mom got rabbit holed, so all I have of her is a portrait.

here is the link, do not know how to get the picture to display here: http://s983.photobucket.com/albums/...=SCREENSAVE.jpg

Please excuse the double post here, I just could not resist the urge to post a screenshot of my latest experiment: a dual monarchy. It seems only logical to me that if the King marries the Princess of Efenmont they should share the kingdom as King and Queen.

Default Using Delphy's height slider
A few caps using Delphy's height sliders, (in reply to a post by Silverprinz elsewhere on the forum.)

First 2 pics are my tallest sim (with height slider maxed) and my second tallest sim together

The second tallest sim with a standard sized sim

I resized this male sim since the kissing animation was badly off. I tried to pretend for a while that swallowing someone elses nose was normal kissing for a sim, but it's quite off-putting just the same lol so I've since shrunk him back to his normal size.
These 2 pics aren't bad, and I liked them, but you can see where the mouth will land.

I'm afraid your fetish theory would negate my previous findings...

In reply to Cassial in another thread. servants vs guards.
(I had to resize them a considerable amount so they look a bit grainy and skewed in the faces)

This is when I first made the servants into guards and kept one as a servant (don't ask about the headwear, I'd only changed the 'servants' at that point lol.)

Dining with the Monarch (the room design was from a pic I'm sure was on this forum, but I can't find it now, so I don't know who to credit for it)

Walking...the other 2 were coming up the hill from the beach so are not in the shot. Ignore the Monarch's clothes he was doing one of the 'vacation' quests, this was when he arrived back.

She's nice.

The game camera goes really close if you use the scroll wheel and right mouse button to slide in, I can get so close I can move it right through a sim.
There are certain points in the reception hall and where the throne sits by default that won't let you get closer.
These were taken with the in-game camera:

This was the lowest the camera would let me go while still getting all his head in

I can get to about here straight on before the hair mesh starts to go weird, this looks further away than it does in the full size pic, in the full size pic I can clearly see the individual strokes in the eyebrows, stubble and eyelashes, I had to resize it to upload it

I normally use Shimrod's camera though, which allows you to go right down to the ground, which I wouldn't be without for screenshots, since with a better choice of angle you can get a wider variety of shots, and much better shots on the whole since it's not as restricted. It also allows you to get closer in those areas that are restricted by the invisible wall, which again, for screenshots I wouldn't be without.
I think it allows you to get closer in CAS too, but I didn't check the game one in CAS so I'm not sure about that.

You can get the camera at his site.

The start of an elf/fantasy kingdom mod. Whether or not I finish it remains to be seen.
The kingdom wall and the white castle are Shimrod's.

water pics I got while taking the elf/fantasy shots, that I quite liked.
With the purple grass the cattail plants in the river/stream are more noticeable which I also liked

A Kingdom Wall I made a while back. Would like to make something similar for a fantasy theme. This one looks ok at first, but any pattern gets tiled, so if you look too closely it starts to become really obvious, and just looks unnatural
