Default WCIF: Maxis-Match (or matte) fantasy skins?
I wanted to try my hand at a 'hood of my own filled with creatures of all kinds like dragons or demons, but none of the that work for those species fit within my current aesthetic. I ADORE Enayla's skins, but I don't love them enough to ignore that they don't mix well with my Leh-skinned humans. If there aren't, I'll deal with it, but I think someone else had to have wanted this as well.

I know of the website, thank you, but I'm looking for custom skins that I can gen+townify on my own. Sort of like this skin here but without all the shine, you know? Thank you, though!

Most fantasy skins are made with stock photo's and such, so they lose that more painterly quality Maxis match skins have. For a start, have you seen Berrynooboo's skins? In their Resources page they also link to skins and make-up they use. (The make-up link is a bit hard to see, here: http://berrynooboos.tumblr.com/post...our-sims-makeup)
Of course, Berrynooboo makes make-up themselves that add a fantastic flair: http://berrynooboos.tumblr.com/tagged/CC:Makeup
In other words, the easiest thing would be if you combine colourful skins with some fantasy-CC make-up. There are some Maxis-Match fantastic skins out there, but there are much more coloured 'plain' skins.

I do know of Berrynooboos, but I never thought to look at the skins! Thank you, exactly what I was looking for! x3

I hope you still see this, but in the vein of maxis match colourful skins + make-up, Lunacress has made/converted some costume make-up that can be useful to make fantasy sims: https://lunacress.dreamwidth.org/tag/makeup:+costume
