As she disappeared the pain left his body and he was able to stand. Her words had dug themselves into his mind. Now he knew why the name Alessia was familiar, she was the wife of his late father. That she was here was an impossibility, she was dead. She had indeed been locked in the cellar by his father but was still alive when his father had been shot. From what he could fathom the woman had died from hunger and infection, only days after his father had been killed.

Dr Sebastien himself had buried what remained of Alessia in the grounds of the clinic.

Shaking his head he tried to clear his thoughts. Clearly he had been working too hard. He should go to the main floor himself and take some tea or maybe something stronger.

But as he moved towards the door it disappeared. The room was sealed, the only exit or indeed entry had gone. His heart began to pound harder as he realised he was trapped.

Then a coppery odour filled his nostrils, looking down he realised that blood had started to seep into the room, under the walls themselves...
